Leon is a stray cat who was hired as a lawyer in Brazil
As soon as a tiny kitten named Leon entered the Order of Attorneys of Brazil building seeking shelter from a storm in February, employees fed and protected him in a box – never expecting that he would become such an integral part of office life and an Internet celebrity! In fact, some individuals began filing complaints that Leon was behaving inappropriately by hanging around such an important institution.
Instead of evicting him, however, the board decided to hire him as an employee with an official job description. Now he spends his days welcoming visitors into the building (whether they like it or not!) with a badge showing that he works there.
He even has his own Instagram page! Additionally, his human representatives indicate he may soon receive his own office space. Furthermore, OAB is also planning on creating an animal rights institute in his name in order to use funds raised through this initiative to assist more abused animals.
